Recently, Fuji has released new firmware upgrades for X-T4 and X-H1 cameras. X-T4 has added setting options and added high-temperature automatic shutdown settings. This update can largely protect the camera’s own performance. The details are as follows:
Fuji X-T4 camera version 1.20 upgrade firmware optimization content is as follows:
1. Add a new menu “High temperature automatic shutdown option” in the “Power Management” menu.
It is recommended to use a tripod, since the shooting time is long, the local temperature of the camera body may become high. If you are shooting movies continuously, it is recommended to set the “High temperature automatic shutdown option” to “Standard”, this option will shorten the shooting time.
After resetting the setting menu, “High temperature automatic shutdown option” is “Standard”. If you need to record for a long time, please change the setting to “High” mode.
2. Added the display of IP address in the settings menu -> connection settings -> information.
3. Improve the shutter speed setting for TTL slow sync flash shooting.
Used in scene shooting where relatively long exposure is required (for example, flash shooting with night scene background), in P and A modes, this firmware can make the slowest shutter speed slower than 1/8 second. If the shutter speed is set to AUTO, the maximum shutter speed is 4 seconds in P mode, and the maximum shutter speed is 30 seconds in A mode.
4. Improve the stability of the camera.
The firmware optimization content of Fuji X-H1 camera version 2.12 upgrade is as follows:
Improved the anti-shake function when used with XF70-300mmF4-5.6 R LM OIS WR.
It has been more than three years since the release of Fuji X-H1 and X-T4 for more than a year, but it can be seen that the firmware update every time is very careful, and it is based on the purpose of practicality from the user’s point of view.
